“ My first visit was at night and I had to make several uturns as Google maps directed me to this shop, but I couldnt see it. If this happens to you, stay motivated delicious food awaits. Papusas central has really friendly and welcoming employees. The atmosphere is casual but clean. They had a small and attractive market of imports mostly from El Salvador, football on television, and the other people who came into eat seemed just as happy with their food as we were. We just got papusas, but with several different filings. Cheese and jalapeno is my go to, and it was very yummy. We also got just cheese papusa, beans and cheese, and chicken with cheese. Every. Single. Thing. Was delicious. Generally the person I was eating with does not like cabbage, but they liked the cabbage and salsa which is served as a side to the papusas. We came close to closing and I asked for our food to go, but they were extremely hospitable and insisted they would be doing side work for quite awhile and encouraged us to feel welcome to eat there. I asked for our food packed to go in case we couldnt finish it, but we ended up eating every bite there. Definitely check this place out. ”
“ Yes! The pupusas are amazingly delicious. Any and all of them. Ive come here a few times. But another plate on the menu that has not been talked about enough is their mojarra frita fried whole fish. Let me tell you that this speciality item is soooo worth the wait! Best pescado frito around for sure. And the beans and rice complimented it so nicely. On a note, if you are in a rush, I recommend to place a phone order ahead of time as the food is made fresh. ”
“ First time trying Pupusa Central since they opened recently they have definitely found themselves a regular customer. 1010 experience. The food was delicious, we had pupusas revueltas de maiz de arroz, pupusas de queso con loroco, and the Salvadoran horchata. The pupusas were hot, fresh, and very big! The staff is very kind and the restaurant is very clean. It felt very welcoming with the music playing in the background. Will for sure recommend this location to my friends family, I cant wait to visit again! ”
“ So good! We went to Cielito Lindo in Ataco, El Salvador, where we were introduced to loroco native flower. This spot also has loroco off menu, and the queso con loroco is delicious! We added shrimp and by far the best. The pupusas are made to order, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly. The outside is blacked out and looks like it is closed, but if you try it you wont regret! ”
“ The food is absolutely fantastic. We had pupusa and tamales and the Rice is out of this world. A must go and The staff were so kind. ”
“ 1010 definitely will come back!! Pupusas are soft and delicious not greasy at all. Everything we order was delicious even the aguas frescas. And the services 1010. We drove 30min to get here. Definitely worth it. ”
“ In a nutshell nice place to visit if youre interested in trying pupusas. Its in a rather conspicuous part of town and as you park in the lot the place windows are noticeable blacked out, which I believe is for safety reasons. Going in we were kindly seated by one of the servers as we got close to the cashier. Server was accommodating and kindly answered all our inquiries. The place may get rather warm as it doesnt feel as theres air conditioner but just fans but that wasnt that much of a bothersome. The pupusas were great, didnt take too long at all to arrive. Burrito tasted alright and was filling. Theres the usual free chip station as alike with other Hispanic or similar themed establishments. Overall neat Salvadoran pupusas. ”
“ Great pupusas and many varieties of pupusas. They have other things besides pupusas as well. Great for lent as Fri we eat fish. They have a little section with latin treats and foods. Baccala whole ready to go a mist try! ”
